Valencia Ciudad del Running travels for the first time to Prague and Stockholm runners fairs in in May

Valencia Ciudad del Running and its promotional team have a packed travel schedule as they aim to visit all the major runners fairs before summer arrives. The Trinidad Alfonso 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon will be travelling to two top running destinations to inform everybody in Prague and Stockholm of Valencia’s amazing running culture, multitude of races and, of course, about Valencia’s top running attractions; the IAAF Gold Label Valencia Half Marathon and Valencia Marathon.

The first stop for the Ciudad del Running promotional team will be Prague. This will be the first time that the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon will be promoted in person by the team, in the Czech Republic. Many people may be unaware that the Czech Republic has one of the strongest running cultures in the world. The Czech republic may be a small country but it punches way above its weight in running; 5 of its half marathons have IAAF Gold Label awards. The Prague Marathon is an exclusive race, only 10,000 runners are allowed to run every year.

After finishing in Prague, the Valencia Ciudad del Running team will fly North to Scandinavia. The Stockholm Marathon unites more than 20,000 runners every year. The race is known as ‘the Nordic Running Festival’ and is one of the biggest road races in Scandinavia. On the day of the race a massive crowd is guaranteed as the runners aim to finish their 42.195 meters in good time, let’s hope the Northern weather is kind to them.

Just with these two runners fairs, more than 50,000 runners will come into contact with the Valencia Ciudad del Running team.
