Course Half Marathon

The route of the Valencia Half Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich has several improvements to accommodate the 22,000 runners who will start the race in several waves and will be placed in pits according to the expected time. These are the key points:

  • The start and finish line will remain on Avinguda Tarongers, but the runners, ordered in boxes and five waves according to their marks, will start their way to the finish line in the opposite direction to last year, that is to say in the direction of the Bulevar Norte, after going around the Torre Miramar.
  • After the first few kilometres along fast and wide avenues such as Alfahuir, Primado Reig or Botánico Cavanilles, the runners will take the banks of the old Turia riverbed, as far as the Gran Vía Fernando el Católico, which will lead into the historic area.
  • They will run past the Torres de Quart and Torres de Serranos, before entering the city centre along Calle de la Paz, which returns to the route after the completion of the works that prevented it last year.
