Training Plans

All runners entered for the Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich can receive our training plans, of which there are five versions depending on the target race time. The plans have been drawn up by José Garay, trainer with CA Cárnicas Serrano (athletics club).

Do you want to get your training plan?

To receive the training guide/plan by email, runners entered for the Valencia Marathon must first ask to be sent a plan. When you request the plan, we will check your registration details for the Valencia Marathon 2025: registration number; email address; DNI/NIE/passport number.

From then on, your training plan will be sent to you weekly by email. Each part of the plan covers the following seven days of your training. Videos and useful tips will be provided along with the plans to help you get the most out of your training.

The plans cater to those runners who are aiming to finish the Marathon in under one of the following times: 2 hours 50; 3 hours, 3 hours 15; 3 hours 30; 3 hours 45; 4 hours 00; 4 hours 15; 4 hours 30 and 5 hours (finish de race). Charity

Casa Caridad logo
Casa Caridad logo

Casa Caridad Valencia has been selected by the Organization as the official charity of the 46th edition of the Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich.

It is a century-old social organization that works to promote the integration and social inclusion of people in vulnerable situations in the city of Valencia. Its work spans several areas — shelter, health, employment, social rights, and education — through a comprehensive approach that combines direct support, social guidance, and values-based education.

Among its most well-established programs is its network of Early Childhood Education Centers, a pioneering initiative in the Valencian Community that provides free, high-quality education to children aged 1 to 3, along with continuous social support for their families.

In addition to the runners in the registration process, anyone, registered or not in the Valencia Marathon, who wishes to donate to this year’s charity and cause can do so by clicking on the following link:

The charity donations given by runners when registering for the Valencia Marathon, as well as the contribution from the Z Zurich Foundation through its charity campaign, which adds 50% to the amount* donated by the runners, will be given to the charity chosen by the Marathon Committee each year.

*Up to a maximum amount of €50,000 for both the Valencia Half Marathon and Marathon.

On the other hand, it is worth noting that there are many ways in which support is being offered to charities. These are just some of the different activities through which the Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso is partnering with its charity organisation:

Mini Valencia Marathon MSC

This parallel activity has been enjoyed by the youngest children since 2014 and promotes athletics from the earliest ages. The Mini Marathon is a further example of the social involvement of the Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso. In addition to being an activity aimed at the youngest members of families, registration for the race involves a donation of €3 to the official charity.

Charity donation

The Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso offers all its runners the option of donating an extra amount of money that will go entirely to that year’s charity.

And if you are not going to run, you can still participate by making a charity donation through this direct link.
