Paella Party

There are many ways to discover Valencia and one of them is through the city’s cuisine. The idea of a pasta party has been adapted to reflect local tastes with a dish that is just as healthy: The Paella Party La Fallera.

The Paella Party La Fallera takes place on the Saturday before the race, in the outdoor area of Expo 42K at Feria Valencia. Attendees will receive a picnic consisting of a serving of paella, along with a drink, bread, fruit, and an ice cream, to enjoy at the tables there in a fun and lively atmosphere. All in sustainable, recyclable containers.

To take part in the Paella Party La Fallera, you must purchase a ticket in advance through our website.

“On the day of the event, tickets can be purchased at the entrance (10€ in cash), provided that portions and menus are still available.

Presentation 42k

In the Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich, the fourth fastest in the world (2h01:48), you will find the ideal circuit for achieving your personal best time. Route:

The Valencia Marathon route, which starts at Plaça de la Marató and ends at the footbridge over the water in the City of Arts and Sciences, is the ideal circuit for setting records. It is completely flat and at sea level. It runs along wide avenues and through the historic city centre, where the main tourist attractions are located. In addition, there are numerous entertainment points along the route to help you keep up your pace.

Runners’ Expo:

Expo 42K Feria Valencia is where runners can pick up their race number and race bag. It is held on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday before the race.

Paella Party La Fallera brings together thousands of runners and their companions on the day before the Valencia Marathon to enjoy the most international dish and get the best carbohydrate boost before running the 42 kilometres.

At the heart of Expo 42K Feria Valencia, we will once again find La Placeta INNSiDE by Melia Valencia Oceanic. A space where, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday December, talks related to the world of running will be held, as well as key events of the Valencia Marathon, such as the presentation of the elite athletes.

Rookies’ Corner by Serrano is a forum for those who are about to run their first marathon to discuss how to do their best.

The Medal Party is the official post-Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich party, which will be held on the Sunday afternoon of the race.

Running Fallero gets the Valencia Ciudad de Running’s ‘Fallas’ Associations involved in the big day. There will be a competition for the best Fallas association cheer station and a ranking for Fallero runners in the marathon. Other initiatives are also held throughout the year.

Through the ‘Shops also Run the Marathon‘ initiative, establishments in the city’s old centre support the Valencia Marathon through different initiatives and by adding to the festive atmosphere on the day of the race.

Marathon to School is an educational initiative designed to energise nursery and primary schools around the world of running and the Valencia Marathon, enabling children to learn about the marathon through play.
