February 2nd; registration for 2016 Trinidad Alfonso Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k opens with same prices as 2015 edition

The Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K, organized by SD Correcaminos and the Valencia Government, have announced the opening date for registrations of the three biggest races in Valencia, keeping the 2015 pricing.

On the 2^nd of February, at 10:00, registration opens on the official website: www.valenciaciudaddelrunning.com. Registration has opened early this year to give more runners the chance to take part in the races in October and November 2016. Keeping the price the same as in 2015, this is just another reason that people will flock to Valencia. Another reason is the world class organization; the IAAF recently awarded Valencia Gold Label status for the Marathon and Half marathon. Valencia has a flat course, record breaking times, great winter weather and now the organizational award that recognizes 30 years of hard work and passion from the Valencia Marathon team. Pricing Periods

Prices will be same as 2015 prices. First 1,000 marathon and half marathon registrations will receive additional discount.

The 10K Half Marathon starts on the same line and runs at the same time as the full marathon, places will be limited to 8,500. A great race to share the emotions and grandeur of one of the best running events in the world.

As an epic warm up for the marathon and its parallel 10K, the Trinidad Alfonso Half Marathon will be the star of the show in Valencia in October. The date has already been set; Sunday the 23^rd of October. In 2015, 12,518 runners glided through the streets of Valencia on the course that was the fastest in the world in 2014 and 2015.

In addition to getting your place booked early, you can also donate to a good cause when you sign up for the 10K and Half Marathon. During the registration process you will be asked if you wish to add a donation to your registration fee for the selected good cause of 2016. The Trinidad Alfonso 10K and Half Marathon choose a charity for each year and work with them throughout the year to raise money and awareness of their project.
