The Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Half Marathon which takes place a month before the full marathon on the 18th of October is also already on the way to emulate its big brother and smash the record for total runners. This year the half marathon celebrates its 25th anniversary; with 6,585 runners already registered it will be a celebration of running not to be missed. The Valencia Half Marathon is not jus a celebration of running, it is also the place where elite athletes come to break records; last year Valencia was the fastest half marathon in the world, this was the 6th fastest half marathon of all time and the fastest Spanish half marathon in history.
