Which are the largest clubs in the Marathon and the Half Marathon Valencia?
The Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon and the Trinidad Alfonso Half Marathon, organized by SD Correcaminos, are getting ready to the events in October and November, and the athletes have started to plan their training so that they can reach their highest competitive level for these events. Many clubs will take part in the only Valencian and Spanish races which have been awarded IAAF Gold Label, but there are already two clubs whose participation is much higher than that of others: Redolat Team and Runners Ciutat de València.
It is well known that in Valencia Ciudad del Running there are plenty of choices when it comes to new and existing clubs. But, if there is one club that stands head and shoulders above all others it is SD Correcaminos: they are the reference club since 1979, with more than 600 members, and they can pride themselves on the fact that they organize races as representative as the the Trinidad Alfonso Marathon and Half Marathon or the Volta a Peu. However, besides Correcaminos, there are many other new and existing clubs that take part in running events, both federated and unfederated, and if there is something that they share it is their will to enjoy the race.
The Marathon, mostly Redolat Team
The fastest race in the history of Spain already has more than 110 members of the Redolat Team. This club is lead by Jose Antonio Redolat, a runner who is part of the Marathon’s history. Runners Ciutat de València has now more than 50 registered runners and it is followed closely by Team 3FDC, with also more than 50 participants. Furthermore, more than 50 members of SD Correcaminos, which organizes the race, have also signed up for it. It is therefore the fourth-largest club in the Marathon. Regarding international clubs, Italy is also part of the Top 10 with Terramia, since 47 runners of this club have signed up for the first marathon in the history of Spain that has been awarded the IAAF Gold Label. There are a total of 3,398 different clubs which have signed up for the race with a total of more than 7,710 runners registered in all teams.

Don’t miss this opportunity and sign up for the race with your club. You will participate in the first races in the history of Spain which have been awarded IAAF Road Race Gold Label. Crossing the finish line is something great, but doing so with the friends and partners you have met in your club is unique.
