FESA will facilitate the registration of people with disabilities for the Valencia Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K with a 50% discount
There’s room for all runners in Valencia, City of Running. Elite athletes, runners and athletes with disabilities will all be part of the great races that will take place in October and November. Despite having disabilities that diminish their physical capacities, athletes will disabilities have earned the respect of runners and viewers due to their effort and their spirit of improvement. That is why Valencia’s top races, organized by SD Correcaminos, support Federació d’Esports Adaptats de la Comunitat Valenciana (FESA: Federation of Adapted Sports of the Valencian Community) so that it is easier for people with disabilities to participate in the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Half Marathon, the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia 10K and the Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon.
People with disabilities who sign up via FESA will have the following advantages:
- All athletes with disabilities will have a 50 % discount in their registration process. This discount will be applied to the current price list. This discount will only be available for those who sign up through FESA
- Registered athletes can compete in the 4 adapted categories. These are:wheelchair, functionally disability, sensorial disability and intellectual disability. These four categories have their own classification and prizes for the first 3 places in each category and sex.
- Athletes that are blind or visually impaired (B2) have the right to a guide whose registration will be 100% free. The organization will cover all of the registration fees of the guide, but this service will only be available for those who sign up through FESA.
