Valencian sports clubs strengthen ties with the Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon

The countdown to the Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon, organized by SD Correcaminos and the Valencia City Government, has already started. More than 18,000 runners will gather together at the start line of the bridge of Monteolivete on the 20th of November and they will all enjoy the great sporting event of the year in Valencia. This is the first marathon in Spain which has been awarded the IAAF Road Race Gold Label, the highest award given at international level.

The main sports clubs in the Valencian Community have shown their support to the big race: Valencia CF, represented by Anil Murthy, the managing director; el Levante UD, represented by Francisco Catalán, the president; Villarreal CF, represented by Fernando Roig Negueroles, the managing director, and Valencia Basket, represented by Francisco Raga, the vice-president. They all took part in an event held in the City of Arts and Sciences to strengthen their ties with the Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon. This event also aimed at giving impetus to the 42,195 metre race just a few weeks before it takes place.

Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon registration prices will rise for the last time

Those runners who are still wondering whether to take part in the race can still sign up for it. On the 2nd of November registration prices for the Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon will rise for the last time. Registration currently costs €75 but race numbers will be subject to availability and registration will cost €90 from the 2nd of November on.

As for the 2016 Trinidad Alfonso Valencia 10K, which is held at the same time that the Marathon, all registrations are sold out and more than 8,500 runners will take part in it.
