Two giant screens and 150 cheering stations to follow the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon

Join us on the 20^th of November! It does not matter whether you are a runner or not, the Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon, organized by SD Correcaminos and the Valencia City Government, would like to invite you to take part in the race. How? By supporting and encouraging runners. Run and cheer. Your support will provide all 19,000 runners with the impetus they need to achieve their goal: crossing the finish line after running 42,195 metres.

There will be dozens of cheering stations from the beginning of the race course to the golden walkway in the City of Arts and Sciences.

In addition, due to the great expectation created in the past years, the organizers will set up two giant screens so that the whole city can feel the thrill of the race on the spot.

Two screens and 150 cheering stations

They will be located in a different area this year. You will find them in the City of Arts and Sciences and the Bullfighting Arena of Valencia. The cheering station of EDP, the official sponsor of the race, will be located in the latter, as well as a screen to broadcast the event live.

In addition, there will be music, batucada and percussion in many other places. A total of 150 cheering stations will support the runners from the first kilometre to the last one and they will welcome everyone who wants to join them and cheer.

Several sports clubs, such as Never Stop Running, Runners Ciutat de Valencia, Levante UD or Valencia CF, will also support marathoners, and companies such as Forus or AECC will be there to cheer on marathoners as well.

The fallas, there to support the Marathon

The associations of the Junta Central Fallera (JCF) have shown a strong commitment to the race. This edition will be even more exciting thanks to their 31 cheering stations.

The initiative ‘Cheer on your falla’ includes a contest with four categories (Falla with the best atmosphere, Biggest crowd, Most original support, and Biggest child association) with four €500 prizes for the associations that take part in it.

There is also another initiative, ‘Run for your falla’ , in which falleros will compete and appear in a special ranking. There will be trophies for male and female winners and a €500 prize for the falla with more finishers.

Thanks to all these initiatives, the Valencia Marathon is one of the main attractions in the world of running. Come and take part in this big sports event. Your presence will encourage all runners and liven up the event.
