SD Correcaminos and Viajes Transvia renew their agreement to serve visiting runners

After the achievements of the Valencia Half-Marathon and Marathon trials last year, ever more runners from outside the Valencia Region (many of them foreigners) are attracted by Valencia — ‘The Running City’ — as the ideal place to reach their sports goals over both distances in what are Spain’s best trials.

An agreement has been renewed for a further two years to facilitate travel arrangements and lodging for the high percentage of runners flocking to Valencia for the fastest trial of its kind and a Marathon ranked among the world’s Top Ten. The agreement, which is between the Valencian company Transvia and Sociedad Deportiva Correcaminos (running club) will continue providing outstanding service to runners travelling to Valencia, such service being rendered through the web platform WelcomeToValencia.com. The web site provides special services and offers for runners in the reservation of stays at hotels and flats, and the provision of other tourism services.

Through the renewed agreement, SD Correcaminos continues to enhance the services offered to runners in trials. Each year sees ever more runners travelling to Valencia — ‘The Running City’, which has become a key sport destination in Spain.
