We run the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Half Marathon on the 23rd of October 2016

Valencia world-class sporting event, Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Half Marathon, organized by SD Correcaminos, will hold its 2016 edition on the 23rd of October. The race organizers wish to once again show that the Valencia Half Marathon is the big running event in the October calendar. The Valencia Half Marathon is a fantastic race and an awesome warm up event for the full marathon in November.

The 2015 edition of the Valencia Half Marathon was the 25th anniversary of the race. Highlights of this special silver anniversary include 12,518 runners and a very decent winning time of 59:10. The winner, Abraham Cheroben, sealed his win in style and made Valencia the fastest half marathon of last season.

In the last few years, a concerted effort has been made by the organizers to increase female participation in Valencia’s long distance races. This year, more than 2,600 female runners signed up and competed in the 21.095 meter distance.

As with the full marathon, international runners were well represented in the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Half Marathon. More than 1,500 international runners came to Valencia to run the race and have a great sporting weekend, whilst experiencing Valencia as an ideal city break holiday.

Now we have announced the dates of our amazing races we will be announcing the start of registration very soon.
