The Valencia Half Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich 2023 in numbers

The Valencia Half Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich will once again bring 22,000 runners to the ciudad del running on 22 October, but this will not be the event’s only big number. Below we highlight some more of them:

• 22,000 participants, of which:
  • 2,005 are SuperRunners registered in the SuperHalfs circuit
  • 4,679 are registered in the Plátano de Canarias National Running Circuit
  • 831 falleros and falleras competing in the Running Fallero competition

• • 1,300 volunteers 
  • 14,922 euros in voluntary donations made by the runners to the race charity, Fundación Amigos de los Mayores.
  • 54,260 emails will be sent with the Objective 21K Valencia training plans over a period of 10 weeks
  • 6 people dedicated to the Runner Support service, 365 days a year
  • 1600 persons registered for the event
  • 20 bends along the course over its 21 097 metres
  • 9,400 linear metres, approximately 4,000 fences used as crowd control over the entire event
  • 236 portable toilets
  • 800 litres of Isaval paint used to mark the route
  • 18,000 Enervit gels for the Red Point at kilometre 15.2
  • 313,600 items to be handed to the runners in the race goodie bags and post-finish line bags
  • 135,240 bottles of Aquabona water for the drinks stations
  • 42,480 bottles of Aquarius (10,080 1.5-litre bottles and 32,400 0.5-litre bottles) for the drinks stations
