2017 Valencia Half-Marathon

After the world record set by Kenyan woman runner Joyciline Jepkosgei in the Valencia-Trinidad Alfonso EDP Half-Marathon last Sunday, the trial organised by SD Correcaminos [running club] has opened entries for the 28th edition of the trial, which will be held on the 28th of October 2018.

Runners can now register for the 2018 trial for just €23, a price that will be held until the 31st of December 2017.

There is a prize for running again in Valencia

The city made history on Sunday and the Valencia Half-Marathon wants to thank the over 14,000 runners who took part in the trial that has just ended. The event set no fewer than three records: a new Women’s World Record, set by Jepkosgei; a new Women’s Spanish Record set by Trihas Gebre; a record number of both runners and finishers, confirming Valencia as Spain’s best Half-Marathon event.

The organisers are rewarding the loyalty of the 12,281 runners who crossed the Finishing Line in the latest edition of Spain’s best Half-Marathon. All the runners who took part in the event held on Sunday the 22nd of October 2017 will get a discount if they register by the 31st of December 2017 for the next edition of Spain’s only IAAF Gold Label Half-Marathon in Spain. The special price is €21.
