Race calendar for August. Don’t lose your rhythm over the summer!

Many runners take advantage of the summer months to go to the beach. others see the summer as the time of year to step up their training schedule and make up for time lost in the rest of the year.  We know it is hot outside but you need to maintain your training schedule if you want to finish and get your PB in the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon and Half Marathon. You can train by yourself and against the clock but if you want that authentic race feel you need to enter as many smaller races as possible to be at your peak when you are at the start line in Valencia.

August is one of the best times of the year to really get in shape and hit the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon and Half Marathon ready to smash your PB and get it engraved on your medal. You need to make sure you have at least 2 weeks of full rest at some point a month or two before the marathon but you should stick to a schedule. If you go on to our website you can download our training plans that were written by the national trainer of the Spanish Athletics squad. The training plans are designed for all types of runners from first timers to elite runners.
