The Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon wants to help runners and their companions to get to La Ciudad de Running for the race on the 20th of November stress free and ready to run. As in previous editions, the race organizers have teamed up with the Spanish rail operator RENFE to offer discounts and special deals for runners and their companions travelling to Valencia over the race dates. Any registered race participant can book their train tickets in advance to benefit from the deals and special services organized by RENFE and the Valencia Marathon.

Renfe train tickets: 35% discount

The biggest attraction for travelling by train is the massive 35% discount that Renfe will apply for tickets bought for travel between the 16th and 22 of November. The discount applies to any registered marathon participant and the party travelling with them. This means you can get to Valencia a couple of days before the race and spend a few days recovering after the race, enjoying the city, the sights and the great sunny winter weather.

The discount period for purchases will open approximately 3 months before the race (20th November). The discount will be applicable to any ‘flexible tariff’ tickets. The discount applies to high speed trains (AVE), Intercity (larga distancia) and short distance (cercania). The discount will be applied at the checkout stage of the purchase for any ticket travelling to Valencia.
