All 8,500 registrations for the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia 10K sold out
All 8,500 registrations for the 2016 Trinidad Alfonso Valencia 10K, which is held at the same time that the Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon, are sold out. The participants will enjoy a new race route across the city centre.
The Trinidad Alfonso Valencia 10K has been held at the same time that the city marathon ever since 2011 and it is the best event to complement the big marathon fiesta.
More than 8,500 runners who have signed up for the race will leave from the bridge of Monteolivete on Sunday the 20th of November at 8:30 am. Their goal will be to cross the finish line located near the lake of the City of Arts and Sciences just before the marathon course.
All the participants will have the privilege of sharing the start and finish line with the Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon but they will run in different race courses. This will be a unique event which will gather around 30,000 runners from all over the world in the streets of Valencia.
One interesting fact of the 10K is that women represent around 46% of the registered runners and international runners represent 13% of the participants. They come from 45 different countries, mainly from Italy, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France and Belgium.
The price of the Marathon registrations will rise on the 2nd of November
The countdown to the Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon, the flagship race of the several held in Valencia, has already started and hence registration prices will also go up.
