Valencia Marathon presents New Balance as its new official technical sponsor

The Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso EDP and the American sports company New Balance have signed a new multi-year collaboration agreement that will begin with this year’s race. This will allow the Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso EDP, currently the third fastest marathon in the world and the best event in Spain, to join the exclusive family of major New Balance marathons together with the TCS New York City Marathon and the Virgin Money London Marathon.

New Balance will, therefore, be the company in charge of providing the kit for the thousands of runners who will participate in upcoming Valencia Marathons, as well as the large team of volunteers and organisers. This agreement includes other highly important activities including event sponsorships, plans to promote running and the marketing of race merchandising.

The international firm arrives in Valencia with the intention of helping to project the image of the Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso EDP worldwide through a wide variety of activities, as it has done for some time in London and New York, which are both Platinum Label marathons just like Valencia.

A collaboration for mutual growth

Valencia Marathon Director Paco Borao stated “we are especially excited about this partnership with one of the top firms in the world as it also allows us to join together with two marathons, London and New York with whom we have a special relationship. It is no coincidence that we share the date of our first marathon with London and that the New York Road Runners, the organising club, were the inspiration for our SD Correcaminos”.
