Valencia Ciudad del Running promotional tour finishes with a bang at the Stockholm Marathon.

After 9 months of touring around Europe, Valencia Ciudad del Running has finally ended its international expedition to promote Valencia’s running events. The promotional tour has taken in the biggest running events in Europe: London, Paris, Rome alongside many other marathon events. Its final stop was way up in the North; Stockholm. In Stockholm our stand was there to promote the two biggest running events in Valencia, The Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon and the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Half Marathon.

It may have been our last stop but what a way to finish; the Stockholm Marathon Runners’ fair attendance was spectacular. Hundreds of runners from all over Scandinavia paid a visit to the Valencian stand to see what the Ciudad del Running had to offer. At the stand our team filled everybody in our two biggest races that have been recognised as the two best events in Europe by the RFEA, and let’s not forget that the Valencia marathon and half marathon are the fastest races on Spanish soil. A spectacular setting, the fastest races in Spain and, of course, the magnificent blue skies that Valencia has in October and November had the Scandinavian running crowd eager to get to know more about the Ciudad del Running.

As the crowds came to learn more about Valencia and its running events they also took advantage to get more information and directly book their holiday/race packages at the marathon and half marathon in the Ciudad del Running. For some lucky people one part of their trip was already taken care of as they have won a free place in the races. At the fair there was a prize draw to win 2 free places for the marathon and 2 free places for the half marathon. Below you can see who the lucky winners are:
