The Divina Pastora Valencia Marathon breaks the record of marathon distance on Spanish soil

The Divina Pastora Valencia Marathon passes into history since, in its 33rd edition, it has achieved the marathon best record on national soil.

The winner of the race, the Kenyan Felix Kipkemoi Keny, stopped the clock in a record time of2:07:14.

With this record, Keny breaks the best time of this marathon set in 2011 by Kosgei Isaiah Kiplagat (2:07:59) and also the national record hold by Jackson Kotut, achieved in the 2010 Barcelona Marathon, with a time of 2:07:30.

In the female category, the winner was the Ethiopian Azalech Masresha, with a time of 2:27:01, who, in turn, set the record in this category.DSC96761-266x4001
