Two giant screens and 148 types of entertainment for the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon

The Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon, organized by SD Correcaminos and the Valencian Government, will wow spectators with a great race and lots of reasons to come out and show your support. There will be more than 100 types of entertainment around the course and two giant screens so you can follow the race no matter where you are standing.

The screens will be located in ‘Plaza del Ayuntamiento’ and ‘Porta de la Mar’, these two places are both emblematic and traditionally places with the most spectators. The screens mean that spectators can follow their own section of the race in person, but also the full 42KM and all 17,000 runners on the screens. The screens will be relaying the live broadcast that will be shown on TV, the screens will also be the focal hub for a lot of live entertainment.

The entertainment is for the crowd and for the runners. To help the runners keep their rhythm there will be live rock bands, Brazilian batucada, big bands, traditional Valencian folk music and the Valencian running clubs will be bringing the noise to push their runners on.

The Active Spina Bifida Association will have its own special place this year, the final kilometer of the race. The association has been chosen as the recipient for all the donations this year, and they will receive one Euro for every finisher. The association will be there at the final kilometer to help the runners get to the end with a smile on their faces.

Local leisure centers and private gyms will be bringing their members and instructors to add even more sporty flavor nad noise to the race; TreCet 10, Esportinat, Supera, Forus Rambleta and Altafit will be present among others.

This is just a taste of some of the groups and activities you will see on race day. In Valencia the weather is great and the Valencians know how to party in the sun! Blue skies and temperatures of 15-20ºC means that the crowds will be out from morning to evening with a smile and cheer! The Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon is a city wide event, Valencia is very proud of its marathon and wants to share the love with you and the runners.
