Last few days to get reduced price tickets for Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon and Half Marathon

The 30th of June is the last day of the discounted ticket price period for the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon and Half marathon. From the 1st of July the price for the full marathon goes up from 50€ to 60€. For the half marathon the price goes up from 22€ to 30€. And finally, the 10k that runs alongside the full marathon will remain at the same price of 15€ until the 1st of November.

Ready for some stats? The Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon has 7,790 runners registered as of today. This is 3,000 more runners already registered compared to the same date last year. If we go back to 2013 the numbers are even more impressive, compared to the 2013 edition we now have 3 times more runners; 2,300 runners in contrast to the 7,790 runners registered for this year. A great demonstration of how much the Valencia Marathon is growing every year.

The number of women runners make up 14% of the total runners in the marathon, and 23% of the runners are from outside of Spain.

The Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Half Marathon has also experienced a dramatic increase in nearly all types of runners and total participation. As of this date we have 4,377 runners registered. This is already double the number compared to last year, which was 2,013. If we go back two years to the same date in 2013, we can see that this year has smashed the numbers for that year; 850 registered runners.

In the half marathon the participation of women has increased dramatically, women now make up a quarter of the total amount of runners. Furthermore, as with the full marathon, the number of international runners doing the half marathon now make up a substantial proportion: 13%.
